RE: The problem is more that with the droivce it's much less likely that either of the spouses will be able to afford to keep making the payments, but one of the spouses might try to continue living there. It's not like these people are completely rational, or anything close to it. So you can have the court award one spouse the property, have that spouse fall behind, and have the other spouse's credit affected by the delinquency and eventual foreclosure.Add in the difficulties doing a short sale if they don't have the assets to pay off the loan, and you have a real mess even if they are legitimately trying to sell. By :is job creation laniggg or leading? it's clearly laniggg but I'd like your thoughts. the GDP decline and recession ended in August of 2009. the stock market bottomed in March of 2009. many other indicators turned up before or around that time. Can truly only answer this in hindsight (in a coupe more years), otherwise your just speculating. Your trying to create rules(laniggg etc.) where there truly are none(you'd need thousands of years of data to attempt to derive any significant correlation to argue for laniggg conditions; ie. an n of less than 10 isn't gonna prove anything). RE: I'm with you on this one patient. I raelry see anything pfft posts convincing me differently about the economy. I do however like seeing his posts as they generate great responses from SWE and Scotsman, usually with links. I appreciate the discussions between this group as the links they share help me draw my own informed decisions about the economy. I don't tend to be quite as bearish as SWE and Scotsman, etc but I definitely have become more bearish because of the discussions on this board.
